Doris Østergaard, MD, DMSc, MHPE
Doris is a Professor in Medical Education and Simulation at the University of Copenhagen and leader of research at the Copenhagen Academy for Medical Education and Simulation (CAMES), Capital Region of Denmark. Doris is an anaesthesiologist currently focusing upon developing healthcare education and simulation-based training to improve patient safety. Her publication list includes papers about anaesthesia, patient safety, medical education, and simulation. Doris is a member of the National Council for Education of doctors in Denmark and Chair of the Simulation Committee in the European Society for Anaesthesiology.
